Our ecclesiastical mandate and commitment is Liturgical Missionary Benefaction
- Benefaction because our intention is to help poor churches.
- Missionary because we look to needy local and foreign mission churches
- Liturgical because we provide free mass vestments, altar linens, sacred vessels and equipment
Objectives of the Guild
- To give glory to God and service to His Church
- Personal sanctification of the members through
- Imitation of Mother Butler’s charity for home and foreign missions
- Fostering vocations to the priesthood by prayer and alms giving
- Promote the cause of beatification of Marie Joseph Butler
Membership
- 18 years of age and older
- of good moral character
- committed to the service of God and Church
- practicing the Roman Catholic religion
- with desire to carry on the charitable works of Mo. Marie Joseph Butler and to participate in the promotion of her cause for beatification and eventual canonization
